Housing Assistance to a Large Artsakh Family

A profile of the Poghosyan family of Artsakh, for whom New Year’s Eve took on a whole new meaning in 2016. That evening, the Poghosyans settled in at their brand-new home, which was gifted to them by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. The Poghosyans received their house through the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s “Our Home” project, which provides housing assistance to economically disadvantaged families with five or more children in Artsakh, aiming to address the urgent need for improving the economic lives of such families and helping boost demographic growth. “Our Home” is co-sponsored by the government of Artsakh. Like all “Our Home” project homes, the Poghosyan family’s house features a complement of amenities and human comforts, including furniture and appliances. The property also boasts a large lot, including a sizeable backyard.
