Recorded June 12, 2004. Hot Springs National Park is in central Arkansas adjacent to the city of Hot Springs. It is by far the smallest national park by area in the United States. The hot springs flow from the western slope of Hot Springs Mountain, part of the Ouachita Mountain range. This short video shows my arrival into town and the view from the top of the park's Mountain Tower, a 215 foot high observation tower built of lattice steel on Hot Springs Mountain.
