UPDATE: To see the finished kiln: https://youtu.be/JoSMa0cWgOA Finally doing something towards the forge. A coal forge needs fuel. I'm planning to use charcoal and I want a reliable source. Late last year or early this year I took two hot water heaters and started building this retort kiln for the pyrolysis of hardwood to charcoal. Really, this is a small scale kiln. And, if it works well, I may consider building a larger version. I started posting videos as a way to share when I was building my forge and then my bellows. I kept making videos from time to time over the years. And, now want to make them more frequently as a way to hold myself accountable for the projects that I start. I'll be making stuff in my garage and that includes getting back the blacksmith videos, but, includes welding, cars and a few other things I have in mind. Thanks for watching. By all means, subscribe to the channel. By the way, I apologize for this video, they are all better than this one. I swear. Cheers! Justin Jennings
