Homemade DB4 TV Antenna Preliminary Test 1

[Filmed on Saturday, October 12, 2013.] A preliminary test of my homemade TV antenna facing WNW. The antenna was able to pick up stations from both El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM. Plans for the antenna can be viewed on http://www.tvantennaplans.com/ This antenna was based on a DB4 antenna which retails for around $50; but you can build it yourself with some spare wood, wire, and parts for $10-20 depending on how much new material you need to buy.
