Homemade 40W CO2 laser

This is an example of a DIY 40W CO2 laser. Obviously apart the laser tube and the PSU is all homemade. Next step is to build a ZnSe beam expander to focus the beam. Never use these tools without eye protection!!!!!! CO2 lasers work by exciting low pressure Carbon Dioxide gas between two mirrors, one of which is partially reflective and allows the beam to escape. ___________ Questo è un esempio di Laser a CO2 autocostruiro. Ovviamente a parte il tubo e il trasformatore è stato tutto assemblato "in casa". La prossima fase sarà quella di costruire un dispositivo al selenidio di zinco (ZnSe) per focalizzare il fascio. Mai utilizzare questo dispositivo senza occhiali di protezione!!!
