- The Burnwood Family Tomb chapter has me performing the most distractions of all the chapters in the game (17). Only the Part 1 of the Blackwater Park mission comes close with 14 distractions. The difference is that in Blackwater they're mostly equally difficult and more sparsely located, while here there is one really complex sequence (6) and a lot of less demanding ones. Compare to other chapters: Orphanage Halls: 11, Barbershop: 9, Attack of the Saints (Parts 1/2/3): 6/7/6.
- The distraction sequence I performed to get to the evidence in Burnwood Family Tomb (2:40-3:15) is probably the most complicated thing I've done in the whole game. There are 12 (!) people who could have spotted me on my way to the evidence, with 7 looking directly at it. I had to come up with a way to make them all turn away from it in a minimum amount of time, which wasn't an easy task, I must say. I will explain each step here:
1) 2:42 -- 1st distraction shot to delay one of the agents who patrols the excavation site.
2) 2:44 -- 2nd distraction shot to alert the heavy trooper and prevent him from returning to his 2:25 position too early (he doesn't go back until 3:12).
3) 2:46 -- throwing a vase to make another heavy trooper turn away from the evidence and delay the agent in the "31" shirt from going on his patrol too early.
4) 2:50 -- throwing a bone to make the stationary heavy trooper (who stands near the explosives) turn away from the evidence.
5) 2:54 -- 3rd distraction shot to turn the patrolling heavy trooper and another agent away from the evidence; it's extremely risky, as there is a very small space gap where I can shoot my pistols without alerting the nearby agents.
6) 2:56 -- throwing a C4 to lead the stationary agent away from the evidence.
- Some of my statistics after completing the game (from the in-game menu):
Time played: 233 hours 17 minutes. (I think I spent 40-50 hours playing the game "normally", i.e. playing on Expert using disguises and instinct and doing challenges. The rest was spent creating this playthrough).
Time spent in cover: 45:47
Miles walked: 1305
Miles run: 232
Miles covered sneaking: 438
Miles dragging bodies: 15
Containers entered: 458
Fiber wires: 1510
Bodies hidden: 1689
Caught dragging body: 134
Caught trespassing: 12212 (which, considering that I was doing a "no detection" playthrough, where detection = failure, means that I restarted from different checkpoints a total of ~12000 times).
