Hikvision DS-2CD2142FWD-I vs. DS-2CD2132F-I WDR Comparison - UPDATED FOR 2016

UPDATED FOR 2016 - In this video, we showcase the improved 120db True WDR capabilities of the Hivkision DS-2CD2142FWD-I from the 4MP R6 series of IP cameras vs the dWDR of the DS-2CD2132F-I from the popular 3MP series. As you can see, there's a large improvement! For this test, we used a DS-2CD2132F-I from the Hikvision 3MP 2-Line series and a DS-2CD2142FWD-I from the new Hikvision 4MP R6 series of IP cameras. Both cameras used a 6mm focal length lens. All video and image settings were left at their respective defaults except for the below: - Resolution on both cameras was set to 1920x1080 - FPS was set to 20 - Video Quality was set to Highest - Bitrate for each camera was increased to 8192kbps - WDR Settings were of course changed in each clip Following feedback on our previous WDR comparison video, we have updated and improved the test to more accurately reflect the superior WDR capabilities of the Hikvision 4MP cameras compared to the previous 3MP models. Both cameras were mounted side-by-side recording the same scene simultaneously, with the viewing angles kept as similar as possible.
