Due to hardware limitations, only two extra expansion cards/boards can be used at once instead of the four that the previous module was capable of. Some of the sounds from these modules also appear on the CM-64, D-70 and MV-30. Its acoustic instruments were for the most part noticeably better sounding than those from the Korg M1, which made this module very popular among video game music composers. The sounds from this module were created and edited by Eric Persing's team in the mid 80's. He would also contribute to the extremely popular JV-1080 and SR-JV80 sample libraries in the early 90's, and a few years later found Spectrasonics. (c)1989 Roland Corporation Composer: Marvin Sanders
