It runs from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Hazrat Nizamuddin. It is the longest running Rajdhani Express train, which covers about 3,149 km (1,957 mi).[2] It has a record for the highest section speed, reaching 104 km/h (65 mph) between Ratnagiri and Sawantwadi Road (225 km or 140 mi in 2 h 10 min). It also gets a top speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) between Nagda and Hazrat Nizamuddin (267 km). It moves at an average speed of 76.36 km/h (47.45 mph) between Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. It runs the longest non stop run between Kota Junction - Vadodara Junction section (528 km). The 12431 Rajdhani Express leaves Thiruvananthapuram Central in the evening at 19:15 and reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin at 12:40 in the afternoon of the third day. While on the return journey, the 12432 Rajdhani Express leaves Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10:55 in the morning and reaches Thiruvananthapuram Central at 05:25 in the morning of the third day of its journey. Before the Konkan Railway came up in 1998, there were only 2 South bound Rajdhani from Delhi. Trivandrum Rajdhani Express was a weekly train back then having rake sharing aggrement with Bangalore Rajdhani & it used to run via Chennai. Time Table of that time:- 2431 used to depart Thiruvananthapuram Central in the evening at 19:15 & used to reach Madras Central now Chennai Central at 09.15 in the next morning. Then after it used to depart Madras Central now Chennai Central at 09.35 in the morning and used to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 14:20 in the afternoon of the third day. While on the return journey, the 2432 Rajdhani Express used to leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10.10 in the morning and used to reach Madras Central now Chennai Central 15.25 in the next afternoon. Then after it used to depart Madras Central now Chennai Central at 15.45 in the afternoon and used to reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 05:45 in the morning of the third day of its journey. It is hauled by a WAP-5 or WAP-7 of Vadodara shed(BRC)/Ghaziabad shed(GZB)/Tughlakabad shed(TKD) between Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station to Vadodara Junction railway station. After which a Golden Rock shed(GOC)/Erode shed(ED) WDP-4D or WDP-4B or WDM-3D+WDM-3A twins pulls the train from Vadodara Junction railway station to Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station. The Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani generally has 1 AC 1st Class, 5 AC 2 tier, 1 pantry car, 2 luggage cum generator coaches & 9 AC 3 tier coaches taking the total of 18 LHB Coaches. Back in 1995 the train had 11 coaches only. It shares its rake with Chennai Rajdhani Express and Secunderabad Rajdhani Express and Madgaon Rajdhani Express. Back at 1995, it shared its rake with the Bangalore Rajdhani Express. The Mumbai-Madgaon Mandovi Express is a train which operates between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Madgaon Junction, the main railway station in Goa and is currently operated by the Central Railway and the Konkan Railway. It runs daily with a total travel time of 11 hours and 50 minutes. It has 18 stops on its route. It covers a distance of 580 km. This train is named after the Mandovi River. In previous years before the Konkan Railway came into existence, it used to run between Vasco and Miraj as the Vasco-Miraj MG train and after the Konkan Railway came into existence, it was diverted and made to run from Mumbai to Madgaon and renamed Mandovi Express by Rail Minister Nitish Kumar. In earlier years it used to run with WDM 3a/d of Kalyan/Erode shed and in 2000 it was given WDP 4 of Krishnarajpuram.It is now hauled by a WDP 4 of Hubli. 10103/10104 - runs Daily for both the sides Aravali railway station is a station on Konkan Railway. It is at a distance of 156.414 km (97.2 mi) down from origin.[clarification needed] The preceding station on the line is Sawarda railway station and the next station is Sangameshwar railway station.
