This clock was purchased by a major manufacturer and is about 10 years old and has never been used. It is in new condition. The Hermle 22801-740352 Chigwell Keywound Mantel Clock was inspired by the minimalist elegance of the cube. This clock offers a highly polished, nickel-plated Hermle Westminster 352 movement supported by heavy pillars mounted on the solid wood, black piano finish base. The solid glass cover is held in alignment by the polished chrome pillars. There are three winding access vents in the front of the case so the glass cover may stay in play during winding once a week. The mechanical 8-day spring wound, Westminster movement chimes on four bells. Features include a polished nickel-plated finish and an 11 jewel deadbeat escapement with a separate second feature. The seconds are divided into smaller increments so the second hand appears to be moving in a continuous motion from a distance. Made in Germany.
