Here I Am (Steven Universe/SVTFOE)

When I heard this song in the new SVTFOE from Sunday, I knew I had to make an AMV for this immediately because it’s beautiful and Eclipsa is one of my three favorite characters. My first thought was to make it some kinda “Pinkie VS the Forces of Evil” thing, and cast Luna as Eclipsa, but I was lazy and didn’t think I’d have enough room to download pony clips as I was bulking in SU stuff for my AMV sets. But, I immediately thought to use Pink Diamond/Rose for this song because I already have every speaking clip for her and the song fits her completely. I immediately started it on Monday and finished it by the end of Wednesday (tonight). If I were to do an AU thing for Steven Universe though, I couldn’t cast Pink as Eclipsa though, even though she’s really the only one that fits her, Star is way more important to cast and while lots of other characters fit Star, she’s really the only one that has good characters for the other roles that fit with her as Star. Steven Universe belongs to Rebecca Sugar and Cartoon Network and Star Versus the Forces of Evil belongs to Daron Nefcy and Disney.
