Here I Am: Carlos, from the Dominican Republic, shares his HIV story

Carlitos Miguel is in his twenties; he found out he had HIV when he was only 11 years old. He is a member of the youth group Jovenes Por Siempre which is part of the organization of persons living with HIV called Alianza Solidaria para la Lucha contra el VIH y el SIDA (ASOLSIDA). Jovenes por Siempre has been supported over the years by Centro de Orientacion e Investigacion Integral (COIN). The Here I Am campaign is a global call on world leaders to save millions of lives by supporting a fully funded Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Here I Am brings the voices of people that are directly affected by AIDS, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria into dialogue about decisions that affect their lives and lives of millions of others in their countries.
