"Hendershot Fuelless Generator" - Wesley W. Gary's Neutral Zone

On energeticforum "synchro" suggested that I investigate the theories of Wesley W. Gary. Gary has an interesting idea about a neutral line beyond a horseshoe magnet. Hendershot used a horseshoe magnet in his design so there may be a clue here. If a bar is moved beyond it and back again, the polarity reverses. This video shows my attempts to experiment with this idea. I'm not sure I'm finding the neutral zone, but this idea of using rubber bands to hold the bar has an interesting mechanical oscillation benefit.
