Hellons Church Rejected

The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya has distanced itself from jazz musician Joseph Hellons Finger of god church. The Secretary General of the alliance reverend Willy Mutiso says that even though the statement of faith of the church is similar to most of the evangelical churches, some of the alleged practices of the church like sanctioning the drinking of alcohol are suspect. And it is for this reason that the evangelical alliance of Kenya says it has launched investigations into the on-goings at the church. The Finger of God church has come under attack after it was suspected to be involved in cult-like activities that have involved a media personality. Olivia Okech reports.
