Helen Forrest "I Had the Craziest Dream" 1983

Of all the recordings of this song that Helen Forrest made, this version is the best. This is from Helen Forrest's final album "Now and Forever" which she recorded in Jan 1983. She is accompanied by an all-star band which included Hank Jones on piano, Frank Wess on sax, Bob Zottola on trumpet, Grady Tate on drums and George Duvivier on bass. As this recording demonstrates, Helen was singing better than ever at this time. Sadly within two years, her health began to deteriorate.
