Hakodate 函館市 is a city and port located in Oshima Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. Hakodate is located in the centre of Kameda peninsula. Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, the first commercial warehouse in Hakodate, has witnessed the history of the city through its warehousing business.
