Half Life Mods - Half Life: Zombie Edition

**WARNING** [Just as a reminder that i play this mod to the finish, so if you don't want any spoilers, avoid watching the whole video. I give various information about this mod during the video, but i will post the most relevant stuff in the description if you're not planning on watching the whole thing.] Episode 1 of fun community mods for Half Life 1 that i have found searching the internet. Half Life: Zombie Edition is a community made mod where you play the point of view of a Headcrab that has teleported into Black Mesa from Xen as a result from the resenence cascade during the Half Life main story. As you progress through the game, you find various hosts to use to get through the facility, avoiding dangers of all sorts. You can get stronger by feeding off the bodies of victims you have killed or have found in order to get DNA points, which then can be used to gain more health and mutate into 1 of 3 zombie classes, which then have their own unique abilities for survival, which can also be further upgraded.Details on the specific classes are on annotations at 5:12 of the video. You may want to pause as there's quite a bit of text there. The game itself is very interesting. An idea of playing as a zombie has been done before, but Zombie Edition really has a unique feeling of wanting to survive as one of the easier enemies to kill in the game. Another good feature is that the 3 classes do not play the same as each other, so the story can play differently depending on what you choose. Want to use stealth, speed and agility to your advantage? Or maybe be a big, hulking undead bullet sponge? Or perhaps even command the other zombie scientists and soldiers to your whim? Well it's all in this mod. However, like most good mods in the community,there are some downsides too. There are various glitches in this game, but i won't waste time listing them, there's only a few.
