Live action commercial from Valve for the upcoming Half-Life 3. This time in the invader occupied Moscow, where the upper class of the Combine resides in an otherwise empty city. Half-Life 3 has no official release date yet, but is expected to be revealed in summer 2018. ------------------------------------- And if you believed any of that then I have some WiFi cable to sell to you. --- Original Video (or at least the source I got it from): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJIxA2... Original Description: Directed by Carl E. Rinsch, 'The Gift' Belongs to the "pararell Lines" Phillips Cinema campaning. Placed in Russia, The Gift is a Sci-Fi short with a savage Chase sequence on it. We made more than 20 full CGI shots for the short. Check out the animated pictures to see how it has been done. We also made the vechicles and some characters desings. We enjoyed creating such an unusual atmosphere and sense. Not the regular Sci-fi film we are used to see... ---------------------------- This short was part of a promotion campaign by Philips to promote it's TV line. This video is but one of a whole series of short movies, many of them as exceptional as the one you have just seen. Check them out for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/user/philipsci... sadly all videos on that channel are shown inside the frame of a philips tv, meaning that the actual film is smaller than it should be. Anyway, well worth watching. And the unicorn comes back! --- The Gift A film by Carl Erik Rinsch Part of the Parallel Lines project from Philips Cinema and Ridley Scott Associates. Five short films. Five genres. Five of RSA's hottest directors. One unifying piece of dialogue. Were pushing the boundaries of cinematic viewing, giving you the chance to experience the spectacular Ambilight, picture and sound capabilities of Philips TVs for yourself. There are millions of ways to tell a story. There's only one way to watch one. --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOZkLI... I'm pretty sure that Philips is quite happy with the Half-Life 3 confusion. :) -- PS: Don't be so angry. It's was either this or Rick Astley. :D
