The Hakko FX888D soldering station puts out 65 watts of power and delivers exceptional thermal recovery with its patented T18 series tips. T18 tips are made with high-grade, heat conductive material that allows an operator to solder at lower temperatures while reducing the overall thermal impact on components. Total Power consumption: 70W Temperature range: 120° - 899°F (50° - 480°C) The FX888D is an updated digital version of the popular FX888 and includes several new features: Enhanced Thermal recovery: Heater output has been increased by 30%. Thermal recovery graph: Rise time to 350°C is 20 seconds faster and tip temperature drop is reduced during continuous work. User-Selectable Preset Function: The preset function allows an operator to save five temperature settings. The station will automatically power up to desired temperatures. This reduces the amount of time it takes to set a temperature. Password Function: Hakko installed a password function that, when applied, will reject any changes made to the settings. This is helpful in a production environment when multiple engineers use the same soldering station(s). The temperature range that one engineer uses may not be the same as another engineer.
