Yesterday, we optimistically sipped some TMZ-tea that singer Hailee Steinfeld has been dating Justin Bieber for over a month. In addition, the two were caught FaceTimeing and then days later hanging out after the Met Gala. Awkward- because Hailee has a longtime boyfriend named Cameron Smoller. Now Hailee has taken the matter into her own hands and setting the record straight once and for all. She clarified her relationship with the Biebs during an interview on SiriusXM’s Morning Mash Up on May 3rd. Listen as Hailee casually claims they are just friends. Looks like Hailee’s boyfriend Cameron can breathe a sigh of relief now! But are we the only ones that think there’s something Hailee may NOT be telling us? Perhaps they are more than friends but don’t want to go public yet or perhaps they are planning some epic musical collaboration.
