GURR - First Run to Upton

Filmed December 31, 2009. After spending well over a year upgrading track on their Upton line, The Grafton & Upton Railroad finally finished in time for the New Year. Seen here is their GP9 making its first to West Upton and testing the track on two newly installed spurs. The last time an engine was run on these tracks was back in early 2004, nearly six years ago, using their (now retired) Alco S4 #212.
