Guangzhou - CHINA'S BEST FOOD - Street Food in China

Guangzhou has a legitimate claim to China's best food city. It's the home to Cantonese food - probably the most popular type of Chinese food worldwide. I quickly found an incredible bowl of beef noodles in a tangy spicy broth. With tofu, seaweed knots, radish, and succulent chunks of beef - it's both filling and fulfilling. I'm being told that's a tacky line. Oh well. This first day in Guangzhou really blew me away. It sounds silly, but the best thing I ate was a whole bunch of cong you bing, fried scallion pancakes. I've had this many times, but the place I went to in the video is by far the best. It was crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. I also had some dim sum, which was invented in Guangzhou. Instead of going for a early day dim sum meal, I grabbed a sample of dim sum treats from a late night stand. There's a special soup in Guangzhou that's served in a coconut. It has a strange but tasty coconut water and chicken broth taste. The chicken that's in it is silk chicken. Its black skin is a bit strange, but the tenderness is amazing. For breakfast, I found a place making chang fen, or steamed vermicelli rice rolls. They're a unique treat that will surprise you with their delicateness and deliciousness.
