A modified T-bud graft:
1) Cut a T shaped incision onto the rootstock citrus.
2) Carefully peel back the cambium layer at the corners that have been formed by the T
3) The growing bark will peel very easy and will be very moist. Push the corners back so they don't dry out while you prepare the scions.
4) Cut a 3-5cm length (1-2 inches) of scion, with strong buds on the top. These buds will protrude above the T.
5) Thinly slice to expose green cambium layer below those two buds, expose cambium on two sides that will be in contact with the inner wood and the bark. Slip the graft in.
6) After slipping the graft in, it must be tied tightly to make sure there is 100% contact and force the sap from rootstock up into the scion. I use a cheap plastic cordage from an Asian grocer which doesn't break when you pull hard on it. It works well to keep the heat and rain out.
Thanks to Mr Abbas Zainal of Bahrain. This is a citrus grafting method that i modified after watching his videos.
