A brief demonstration of how using a 55mm adapter and macro filters can really improve your close-range filming.
GoPro cameras are fantastic for wide-angle filming but suffer from severe blurriness when your subject is within ~2 feet. By adding a macro filter you can change the focusing distance of the camera (using the refraction of the filter). With many filters you can even combine diopter strengths, as well as install colour correction filters to the exterior.
This trick can GREATLY increase the versatility of your GoPro camera!
You will need:
GoPro and Housing
Filter adapter (such as the one available from Snakeriver Prototyping)
Macro filter kit
