Golden Trout vs. Rainbow Trout Catch n' Cook Taste Test!

Plenty of rainbow trout and a few golden trout in this tiny creek led to an amazing catch and cook on the river bank! It's been at least a decade since I caught a golden trout so it was cool to see it swimming around in the ultra-clear creek and sight fish for it! I remember seeing a massive golden trout making rounds in the pond so I stocked him with a big bobber rig and nightcrawlers! I bet I fished for about an hour for that dumb fish and FINALLY it bit! I fought it and with much exertion dragged it up on the high, weedy bank! At the time it seemed like 10 pounds but it was probably more like 5 pounds. I was excited out of my mind but when I got the hook out, a few flops which I could not control and it slipped back down the steep bank and into the water! I was crestfallen it got away but also excited that I caught it. That was a memorable day...
