If they want to keep their loot, they have to listen to the instructions. Inside the trap base, there's three doors: Two with traps and one with a riddle inside. If the player guesses the riddle correctly, they get to leave with all of their gear. If they guess incorrectly, choose the wrong door, or refuse to play the game, they lose. At the end, we ended up giving one of the nice players their stuff back plus some extra loot because he deserved it.
