Gmod - hl2.exe error fix (read description)

Three ways to fix the error that closes at the loading screen and says, "hl2.exe has stopped working." In case you can't read it, this is what I typed into the launch options box: -dxlevel 8 EDIT: If your HUD disappears or you have black around your text, type -dxlevel 80 instead.
