Gift of Giving New Rain Gutter Installed Thailand Wet Season

One of the many things that I love about Thailand is how neighbours in a village take care of each other and help each other out whenever possible.
This time it’s our turn to help a neighbour in need.
The neighbours directly alongside us have a leaking gutter that causes their kitchen to flood every time that there is heavy rain. The rain was heavy again a couple of nights ago and Ta once more volunteered to help drain the water from the kitchen. My thoughts quickly sprung to how generous the Sponsors of our YouTube Channel have been and how it must now be our turn to be generous. Our neighbours have been struggling financially for quite a number of years and although this isn’t the first time that we have come to their aid, it certainly is the most money that we have thus far given as a gift for these much deserving people.
The adventure of installing a new stainless steel gutter, first starts when you head out to find the required shop and tradesmen. This is Thailand, it’s not as simple as just doing a Google search, you either have to know of someone by word of mouth or you drive around your local area until you find the right shop.
So given that we didn’t know anyone, we headed out in the neighbours ute (pickup truck).......
