My kids and I were watching the movie "Ghost Rider" (starring Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Matt Long, Raquel Alessi and Peter Fonda) and thought it would be fun to make a video using music from the movie. We are looking forward to the new Ace Combat game and decided to make a music video using trailer footage from Ace Combat.
The trailer video clips, cut scenes and game play are from Ace Combat: Assault Horizon and Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (produced by Namco Bandai Partners).
We used two different versions of the song titled "Ghost Riders in the Sky". The initial version is by Duane Eddy and the second version is by Spiderbait.
Fun Fact: "Ghost Riders in the Sky" was written by Stan Jones in 1948 and Burl Ives recorded the original version in 1949. Additionally, over 50 artists have recorded versions of the song and include The Outlaws, Vaughn Monroe, Bing Crosby, Frankie Laine, Marty Robbins, The Ramrods and Johnny Cash among others.
At the beginning of the video we feature the F-22 Raptor and the AH-64D Apache Longbow because they rock. Additionally, we added several sound effects throughout the video including traffic control tower recordings, jet and helicopter engines, and the A-10 Thunderbolt "or Warthog" 30mm gatling gun. Again, because the A-10 rocks.
We hope you enjoy our music video. Let us know what you think.
