Yes it did hurt... but the pain stops after 24hrs. It takes a while to get used to having the piercing also. Mine healed beautifully im 6mo in with no problems make sure you clean your piercing with salt water solution daily within the first 3mo and go to a good piercing shop and dont avoid high prices for the piercing when it comes to quality you need to spend on this one.
