Getting a synth sound: Octave pedal comparison BOSS OC-2, OC-3, MXR Bass Octave Deluxe

My way to a good synth sound, pt. I: Quick & dirty octave pedal comparison. It's only filmed with an iPhone, but please use headphones or good speakers anyways! My impressions: -MXR sounds warm, tracks down to the G on the E string, has tracking problems when doing vibrato or glissando -OC-2 tracks safely, down to the low A, has no tracking problems with bent notes, vibrato and glissandos. It creates a cracking noise when driven hard (maybe a malfunction?) -OC-3 tracks almost as good as the OC-2, sounds a bit brighter, actual my favourite so far.
