Get back to your roots | an interview with Joel Ganschow

18-year-old Professional Field Guide student Joel Ganschow (or better known as Joey) comes from Germany and spent his life travelling to all kinds of places with his mom, this is where his passion for nature comes from. After travelling to South Africa once before and learning about EcoTraining he decided that this path was definitely for him, to fuel his passion and thrive in a place that makes him happy. After his gap year with EcoTraining, he feels that this part of Africa and the wilderness will be with him forever. His biggest lesson so far: "one should never give up, keep going and aim for the goals you really want to achieve."
