German Gunman’s Disturbing Online Message Before Deadly Hanau Shooting

The suspected gunman who carried out an attack on two shisha bars in Hanau, Germany, posted a disturbing “personal message” online. The interior minister said the alleged attacker, Tobias Rathjen, had a xenophobic motive. He killed nine people and seriously injured five in the German town 25 kilometres east of Frankfurt. He was later found dead at his home, along with the body of his 72-year-old mother.
