Gemcraft: Chasing Shadows (Steam version). Wizard level 4700.
10 hours of life wasted due to lag. (game uses 1 CPU core).
Gems built with WGemCombiner.
[0:03] Wizard Level 4738 . After this run it's 9000. Pictures in the beginning show all the stats i started with.
[0:16] My gem setup: Beacon kill gem in tower: Black, Red, Yellow surrounded with aplifiers filled with Yellow. Trap gems: [Slow]=Red, Cyan, Blue, Black. [Mana]= Orange, Red, Black surrounded by Orange in amplifiers. [Kill]= Black, Red, Yellow surrounded by Yellow in amplifiers. Trap layout in order closest to monster spawn: Mana farm= Slow-Mana-Slow. Main Kill base=Slow-Kill-Slow. Second kill base for giant spawnlings= Slow-Kill-Slow.
[1:05] is precision bombing. First you use Shift +B, then drop bombs manually to not go over HP value to maintain max additional monsters per wave while still being able to kill them.
[11:04] In late stage your beacon kill gem must be upgraded and lifted out of tower after beacon kills so it doesn't kill mana farm monsters. I managed to survive to the point of 12 million XP per beacon kill.
[12:24] Before beacons become unkillable you fill the map with buildings to prevent beacon spawn and continue to farm XP from monster kills. For XP gain this is not the best map, because XP comes from beacon killing and you want maximum free space on the map to fill with beacons. I chose this map, because traps can be placed close to monster spawn. More monsters on the map increases lag and reduces game speed so you are interested to kill them as soon as possible while farming all the mana from them.
