Lothar's Guitar School - Gear Talk - Mesa Boogie Mark III (1985) This Boogie is one of the first simul class amps, i.e. it can be run with 15 W Class A or 60 W Simul Class with 4 x 6L6 or interchangeable 2 x EL34 and 2 x 6L6. This amp features a clean and a lead channel and an additional foot switch for crunch sounds. It is equipped with an Electrovoice speaker. A comparison with 4 different guitars and pick-ups (Fender Stratocaster, Heritage 535, Panucci Tele, Gibson ES 175).
