Gay Short Film (2017) - 'DANCING AROUND'

DANCING AROUND is a gay themed film seen through the eyes of a young girl who witnesses her father coming out of the closet after so many years, due to suppression of modern day Queensland society. According to research within Australia, many men and women have had to conceal their sexuality, or lived a life of pretence to appease certain people around them, who condemn or ostracise them for being who they really are. Maddy, the young girl in this film, chooses to obliterate the outside world and it's judgements, through dance.
