Gay Mean Girls is a Canadian coming-of-age web series that follows prom committee member Lucy Ching ( played by 15 year old Vicky Li) as she seeks to understand her sexuality, charm her best friend Miranda, and fit in with the gay community. Based on a viral short film that earned over 3.5 million hits on YouTube, the project was written and directed by queer women of colour.
