Gay man expresses feeling over attending LGBT pride for 1st time

Displaying plenty of flags, glitter and face paint, people have draped themselves in colour to celebrate the diversity of the LGBT+ community with the vibrant Pride in London Parade, through the centre of the city. Today's event set off from Portland Place at midday, moving down Oxford Circus, along Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Pall Mall and then passing Trafalgar Square before finishing on Whitehall – ending about 5pm. Legendary actor Sir Ian McKellen was among the mammoth crowd, which packed into the likes of Oxford Circus and around Piccadilly Circus.
