Gary D. Ziek - Concerto for Tuba and Wind Ensemble

Ramon Garavito, Jr. performs "Concerto for Tuba and Wind Ensemble" by Dr. Gary D. Ziek with the Frost Wind Ensemble at the University of Miami Frost School of Music on October 27, 2019 as a winner of the 2019 Frost Bands Concerto Competition. Ramon holds a BM Tuba Performance degree from Arizona State University (2018). He is currently pursuing a MM Tuba Performance from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami (2020). His primary tuba teachers are Dr. Aaron Tindall, Dr. Deanna Swoboda, and the late Dr. Kelly Thomas. Ramon plays on a custom Yamaha YFB-621 with a YFB-821 bell.
