This is a case study of students learning Mathematics concept and acquiring 21st century skills by developing their own digital games with Kodu in the classroom. Kodu is a free game-making tool offered by Microsoft in which students can create their own 3D digital games without studying complicated programming language. In this presentation, we will demonstrate how we have brought Kodu into the classroom and how students have learnt abstract concepts like area, volume, coordination system and basic programming skills through building a complete game in the attractive 3D game world while enjoying themselves.
