Conversion of G0704 Mill to CNC, and Spindle conversion to 1.5 HP Brushless DC Direct Drive motor.
CNC Kit:

People seem to have had issues with this kit, but everything was OK for me. The kit came quickly and I was able to install it in a few days. The rear mounted Y axis motor is convenient in a small shop. The fit and finish of the aluminum parts was so-so, but the ball screws were fine. Their videos are helpful, but a little contradictory - ie different videos give different locations as to where to drill holes.
I ordered an aluminum box from them for the control box, and it was terrible.
UPDATE: I've been using this for almost a year now and it is still working OK. I have removed the handles from the X and Y axis, and now only use computer control. There is NO NEED for the old crank handles on the CNC machine, even when doing things manually. Just use the jog pad - and wire up the pot to control the jog speed.
Also, I'm finding that the ballscrews have quite a bit of play. You can move the screw manually about 15 or 20 degrees back and forth with no movement in X or Y. I think this is excessive. The backlash compensation built into the PlanetCNC controller handles it though.
Spindle Motor:

The installation and configuration of this motor was simple.
The motor controller seems to have had some issues in the past, if you read about it in the CNC forums, but they seem to have fixed things now. The motor has run smoothly for me.
