The Fujifilm 50mm f2 is lighter, smaller and weather sealed for outdoor activities. It's also super sharp and has faster autofocus. The area where the Fujifilm 56mm f1.2 is better is when you have to have the extra stops for low light shooting at weddings or events. Then, you'll need the 56mm as it's a faster and brighter lens.
