FSX Steam Edition, How to install a non steam or boxed \ download add on aircraft

The Steam install has it as a file but doesn't automatically run it. It is located in the following file location and should only need to be run once: Your install location then ......Steam\SteamApps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-XPACK\SimConnect.msi Please note, I would personally not buy any add on for Steam without some form of confirmation from a developer, or developer's support forums that they actually work. At the moment I am only installing add ons I previously had for FSX legacy. This is a quick video to show how I have installed some of my FSX add ons into the FSX Steam version. Please note, I now have a dual install of FSX on the same drive as well as P3D. Thus far with the Just Flight and Aerosoft products I have tried I have had no problems using this technique. More importantly it has not caused any problems with my original install of FSX!!
