We had a fair bit of rain in the early hours. It had moved on by first light but more is expected today. Looked a bit wet and wintery at the river mouth but the drop in temperature was quite welcome. A light 3 to 5 knot ESE breeze blowing. The bar was a bit gnarly and the swell was up from yesterday. A few boats got some good air crossing over the shallows. Note: If there are surfers there, or sand in the white water, it's probably not the best place to try crossing. Filmed between 5.55am and 7.10am which was roughly two hours before a 0.79m low tide.
