The Real CSI -- Queensland Police Forensics Popular TV shows such as CSI, NCIS and Waking the Dead have created a public fascination for forensics. We go inside the Queensland Police Service to find out what is real and what is not. We profile the tools the QPS use and how it's changing the nature of policing. Police stage a crime scene re-enactment and we see detectives collect physical evidence and send it to the Queensland Police Forensic Services Unit where we watch the scientific methods and technologies used in the laboratory. Queensland Police have made some dramatic improvements which give us insight into the lives of real CSI.
