Friedrich Lips 2006: Two Pieces by J. Strauss Jr.

Friedrich Lips, from Moscow, is one of the most sought after concert artists & educators in the world. He performs works written for him by Russia's leading composers & his own transcriptions of works for other instruments. At the end of this concert, Lips plays some lighter pieces after some very demanding serious ones.They are Perpetuum Mobile (Strauss Jr.) & Tritch-Tratch Polka (Strauss Jr.). Notice he plays a left hand 5 row which gives him only 3 rows of free basses. His bayan {accordion} is a Pigini (Italian) with Russian built reeds.
