Treating fractures in elderly patients is complicated owing to compromised bone quality, systemic disease burden beside other geriatric complications. Edentulous jaws will add to the complexity. In such situations, the complete dentures can help us to guide and approximate the fracture sites. In such situations, a Dynamic Compression Plates, a modified variant of existing plates is used. The design of these plates is in such a way that on approximation with tightening the screw will lead to the tightening of the bone fragments and complete approximation is achieved. These plates are oriented along the natural lines of bones, called Camphy's Lines would harness the natural potential bone. The greatest advantage is that patient's can use their dentures immediately after fracture reduction and use their jaw.
