Fords at SEMA

At Christmas time, a bare tree in your sitting room wouldn't look quite right...it just has to be decorated. Many Ford owners have the same feeling about their car. They are attracted by the quality, ability and performance of the standard Ford model, but prefer to express their personality with a vehicle which looks different to everyone else's. Nowhere is this showcased better than the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas, USA, where Ford is strongly represented each year. Not only are specials displayed by Ford enthusiasts found throughout the show, the Company also exhibits its own selection of modified vehicles, acknowledging the popularity of the aftermarket which stems all the way back to the 1910s when Ford Model Ts were first customised. This year Ford displayed 22 unique creations based on standard Ford models, some of which were more focused on style, while others opted to push performance to the limit. For European Ford fans, the 7 modified Focus models and 4 tuned Fiestas may prove particularly interesting.
