Flow Hive 2 Honey Harvest (First Time) 2019

Victoria, Australia Bought my nuc on the 31st of September 2019 and on the same day transferred the bees into my flow hive. Two weeks later i added the flow super. I harvested the honey on the 19th of December. I've got the cedar 6 frame flow hive 2. The bees have 100% filled 3 frames and 90% filled the other three. Today i only tapped into 3 frames. My yeild was almost 3kg of honey per frame. It was easy to harvest. Temperature is 26C, light wind blue sky. The bees didn't notice that i was robbing them. The flow hive has a built in tilt of approximately 3° degrees towards rear of the hive to help with harvesting. I used a pair of pliers to pull out caps, the flow key, rinsed clean jars, bee veil and used the flow brackets as the bench. In 45mins i was finished. We are all now enjoying pure unfiltered fresh delicious honey. I recommend the flow hive2.
