Today on Hey Stripes! The Micd Up GoPro Hockey Refcam, I should know better! I do know better! Why didn't I just skate away?! I've been on this channel time after time telling new refs that it is always better to just skate away from players who argue. There's no way to "win" that argument. Some would call it a "losers race". So why, at the end of a game where I made a (admittedly) bad mistake would I go up to the player who was most upset about it and try to discuss it?!!! We're not all perfect.. and today is a great example of me showing that! Learn from my mistakes folks! ps.
